Volunteer with us and become a member of the Watershed RDA family. It’s what you can do that counts.
Come and meet some new friends, spend time with our ponies and have a fun and rewarding time along the way!
If you have some spare time each week in the term time, and would like to volunteer with us, we would really appreciate your help and support.
You do not need to be particularly experienced with horses as we have a varied range of volunteering opportunities available, such as admin/IT, gardening/site maintenance and poo picking the paddocks. We are sure you will find a role that suits you.
We would love to show you around our fabulous facilities and have a chat over coffee and cake ( we are well known for cake! ) – so do get in touch.

Are you participating in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme?
By participating in the Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) Award Scheme you are “sharing experiences, having fun and just maybe changing your future along the way”.
“The DofE Award Scheme helps to turn the things you love, and the things you’ve always wanted to try, into powerful lifelong skills that can help you get a job, change your community and take on anything that life throws your way”.
We at Watershed RDA welcome young people into our safe and supportive environment as they take on their own challenges, follow their passions and discover talents they never knew they had.
If you are interested in joining our family as part of your DofE journey, then please get in touch.

DofE Testimonial :
“I just wanted to say a very big thank you to everyone at Watershed for ensuring that Freya has had such a great experience during her time volunteering with you. As you know, she has stayed with you much longer than the required 3 months because she’s enjoyed it so much. She has learnt a lot too – firstly about ponies but also about working with children who have a variety of learning difficulties. She has enjoyed getting to know Luciana and felt she had a connection despite Luciana not being able to verbally communicate with her. It has taught her to come alongside such children and I hope that these skills are something that she will carry through life with her”.
